22 works by Master MZ (German, 1477–1555) are catalogued on Archive Lane, free to preview and available to download or order as a print.
Master MZ was an engraver active in south Germany around 1500. He signed his 22 engravings with his monogram "MZ", and six are dated, all 1500, 1501 or 1503. He worked in Munich in Bavaria, and in 1500 seems to have been connected to the court of Albert IV, Duke of Bavaria. There are complicated but inconclusive arguments for and against identifying him with a goldsmith called Matthäus Zaisinger, a painter known as Master MS, and other figures.
Most of Master MZ's work on the site falls under Prints (29), Drawings (2).
By movement, it's catalogued as Renaissance (30), Art Nouveau (1).
Culture: German (31).
By orientation: 9 landscape, 22 portrait.

Every artwork here can be downloaded as the original high-resolution file, or ordered as a Canvas, Rolled Canvas, Framed Canvas or Framed Print from $21.99, shipping included.
Sizes are listed in inches and centimetres, with up to 26 sizes available depending on the print type, from small desk pieces up to large statement pieces. A size that doesn't match this artwork's own proportions is centred and trimmed to fit, and each print type's page states exactly how much of the image that removes.
Framed Canvas and Framed Print orders are available in 8 frame colours (Black, White, Natural, Gold, Walnut, Silver, Dark Grey, Light Grey); Canvas and Rolled Canvas have no frame and no glass.
