About this artwork
Bebudelsen is an engraving, kobberstik by Monogrammist FVB, dated 1475-1499. The artist is catalogued as German. This reproduction is based on the copy in the SMK National Gallery of Denmark, and the file offered here measures 4876 × 6000 px (8.4 MB). Catalogued under Prints and Renaissance, in portrait format. Archive Lane holds 3 works by Monogrammist FVB.
Master FVB was an anonymous early Netherlandish engraver. According to one tradition, the artist is identical to Franz von Bocholt, but there seems to be no evidence to support such a claim.
