ARTISTChristopher David Williams, born January 7, 1873 and died in 1934, was an outstanding Welsh artist who left his distinctive mark on the art scene. Williams' revival experience to art occurred during a visit to the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool in 1892, where he spent several hours in front of Frederic Leighton "Perseus and Andromeda," an experience that changed his life forever. From that moment on, he would not be diverted from his preordained path as a doctor and began his artistic career. After studying at the Technical Institute in Neath, at the Royal College of Art and finally at the Royal Academy Schools, Williams gained prestige and recognition in the art world.
