Pier Francesco Morazzone (Italian, 1573–1626) has 4 public-domain artworks in the Archive Lane archive, each available as a digital download or a made-to-order print.
Pier Francesco Mazzucchelli was an Italian painter and draughtsman who was active in Milan. He is mainly known for his altarpieces, but his outstanding achievements are large decorative frescoes for the Sacro Monte di Varese and the Sacro Monte di Varallo. With Giovanni Battista Crespi, Giulio Cesare Procaccini and Tanzio da Varallo, he was one of the principal Lombard painters of the early 17th century. Like many of his contemporaries, he was strongly affected by the piety and mysticism of the teaching of Charles Borromeo, yet his work is distinguished from theirs by a greater classicism, owing to his training in Rome.
Most of Pier Francesco Morazzone's work on the site falls under Drawings (4).
Culture: Italian (1).
By orientation: 2 landscape, 2 portrait.
Dated work in this group ranges from 1581 to 1896.
As well as a free preview and digital download, each of these 4 artworks can be ordered printed, rolled or framed, made to order and shipped locally from $21.99.
Sizes are listed in inches and centimetres, with up to 26 sizes available depending on the print type, from small desk pieces up to large statement pieces. A size that doesn't match this artwork's own proportions is centred and trimmed to fit, and each print type's page states exactly how much of the image that removes.
Framed Canvas and Framed Print orders are available in 8 frame colours (Black, White, Natural, Gold, Walnut, Silver, Dark Grey, Light Grey); Canvas and Rolled Canvas have no frame and no glass.
