Ganymede is an engraving on ivory laid paper by Giulio Campagnola (1482–1515), dated 1500/03. The artist is catalogued as Italian. The original is held by the Art Institute of Chicago, and the file offered here measures 2190 × 3000 px (2.3 MB). You will find it among Prints, in portrait format. Archive Lane holds 21 works by Giulio Campagnola, an Italian artist.
Giulio Campagnola was an Italian engraver and painter, whose few, rare, prints translated the rich Venetian Renaissance style of oil paintings of Giorgione and the early Titian into the medium of engraving; to further his exercises in gradations of tone, he also invented the stipple technique, where multitudes of tiny dots or dashes allow smooth graduations of tone in the essentially linear technique of engraving; variations on this discovery were to be of huge importance in future printmaking.

The outer strip of the artwork is mirrored around the sides, so the full picture stays on the face of the canvas instead of disappearing around the corner.

A heavy 400 gsm canvas with a matte woven surface. There is no glass in front of it, so the print stays readable from any angle and in any light.

Every room view above is drawn to the real scale of the size you selected, measured against the furniture in the photograph — so the wall space is a fair estimate, not decoration.
