About this artwork
Saint Paul is a print, engraving by Master FVB, dated c. 1490/1500. The artist is catalogued as German. This reproduction is based on the copy in the National Gallery of Art, and the file offered here measures 2528 × 4040 px (2.8 MB). Catalogued under Prints, in portrait format. Archive Lane holds 13 works by Master FVB.
Master FVB was an anonymous early Netherlandish engraver. According to one tradition, the artist is identical to Franz von Bocholt, but there seems to be no evidence to support such a claim.
